Here are some hints and tips:
- Apply the product to wet hair for easier application
- Saturate the hair with lots of product. Use a full bottle.
- Leave the product in longer (some customers have reported 2 hours to overnight)
- Go under a hooded dryer with the product in your hair for 10 minutes
- Rinse the Diva Smooth out completely. Shampoo twice using ONLY lukewarm water as HOT water strips the hair of its natural moisture.
- Leave conditioner in for 3 to 4 minutes, it’s also good to do a deep conditioning once a month leaving the conditioner on for 25 minutes (cover with plastic cap) or longer. Conditioner should be rinsed out with lukewarm water as well.
- Detangler or leave in conditioner is not recommended but if you wish to use it, make sure it is a very light formula. Whatever you place on the hair will be flat ironed into the hair and detanglers and leave in conditioners can sometimes weigh the hair down when overused.
- Your shampoo and conditioner should add moisture to your hair. Find what shampoo and conditioner works for you and stick to it! Scalp should be moisturized and massaged often.
- If you have been natural for a while, it is extremely important that they keep the hair moisturized (this is a MUST). Not adding moisture can cause breakage and lead to hair loss.

Use a professional grade flat-iron. (Professional Flat-irons like the CHI can usually get any grade of hair bone straight without the use of Diva Smooth. Yes. You should apply the product and sit under the dryer but it will not eliminate the dripping. DivaSmooth products turn to liquid when they reach room temperature so when you get under the dryer it will drip even more. I advise using a conditioning cap. And yes, you can leave the product on as long as you want.

Hi Dee. I have fine fragile hair that has a tight "kink." I have tried the worst as well as the best chemical straighteners and eventually my hair weakens and breaks. I have two questions. I exercise almost daily, will my hair withstand sweat with this product? Also, due to my activity level, and sweating frequently I usually have to wash my hair every two weeks. Would it be ok for me to use your cleansing products that frequently?
I would like to use this on my daughter's hair becuase she swims on a year-round swim team and her hair has been damaged from a relaxer and having to be in a Chlorine pool 6 days a week. The issue of humidity can be addressed with the use of the Virgin Coconut Oil Hair Serum before applying heat to the hair. This will usually keep the hair from frizzing and allow you to maintain smooth roots. Depending on how wet the hair is you can either bump it with a curling iron or flat iron it again without washing it; however you can also wash it first, whichever you prefer. I've air dried my hair for a couple decades, always while applying essential oil moisturizers. I never blow dry, because blow drying is so drying. I have healthy, bouncy, long permed hair that I do myself, receiving many compliments. I noticed that one of the steps you mentioned included blow drying. Can I air dry using your product, to retain moisture?

So Im hearing all these comments about the stickiness in the product and all that. I'm just wondering if it will make my hair oily? My hair is already oily which is why I have to shampoo it at least once a week…it is relaxed…but I like the flowy, airy hair styles will this product allow that or will it be weighed down??
I am using a wet to dry flat iron with ionic benefits. I flat iron my girls hair while it is still damp, fresh from rinse, shampoo and conditioning using only your Tea tree or Rosemary mint shampoo and moisturizing conditioner. I'm getting great results. Have I hampered my results by skipping the blow drying ? Would blow drying then flat ironing immediatly after yield me better results ?
