My hair is now relaxed and I was wondering if I could use Diva Smooth just to give my hair a "rest" from the chemicals (the 4 weeks) and then put the relaxer back in? Would that damage up my hair—going back and forth like that?

can i roller set and then blow dry?
My hair has been damaged with the use of chemicals, I have been gradually cutting my hair and have sworn of chemicals for the past 7 months. My natural hair is finally healthy and has stopped breaking. My natural hair texture is cotton like and respond well to a good ole press N curl, however when I"m in a humid setting or sweating at the gym it frizzes and I have to warm comb it. Will this product prevent this? Why do you have to apply Diva Smooth every 4 weeks, and leave it in 30 to 45 min, this sound like some type of hair altering treatment to me. My hair stylist has never heard of the product, is it new?

Hello - I've been completely natural for the past 2 years. I have very thick, tight-curly hair (with grease and water, its wavy - ol'school. lol). I'm not looking for anything to make it bone-straight; maybe something to loosen the curl pattern. I definitely would like to try your product, but I'm not sure if it's right for me. Most of the posts I've read are from women who are looking for a product during the "transition" stage or enjoy the "relaxed" look. I love my natural fro - just wanting to know if this product is for women who have afro-like hair as well (if I want a looser look every now & then)…will it work for the kinky-air sisters?

I understand this is not a relaxer. However, when I apply the next application in 4 weeks do I only apply to my "new growth" area? Or do I apply to my hair from root to tip just like the first application? Can you apply your next application sooner that 4 weeks or it is reccommended to do 4 week intervals?
You would apply the application the same as the first time, from roots to tip. You can also apply the application sooner if you would like.
